Keith Oddo

Player Development Consultant Keith Oddo is currently in his second season with the Bridgewater College men’s basketball staff after being promoted to Associate Head Coach in Spring 2022. Oddo, who specializes in player development, was instrumental in the progression of PG Shod Smith who was named the ODAC Rookie of the Year, D3hoops.com Region VI Rookie of the Year and VaSID All-State Rookie of the Year. Alec Topper was also named All-ODAC after a breakout sophomore campaign.  

Oddo was most recently a graduate assistant coach at the University of Akron. While with the Zips, Oddo was responsible for player development, scouting, analytics, team operations, and academic development. 

During the summer of August 2021, he worked as an NBA Summer League team assistant with the Brooklyn Nets. He assisted with on-court practice and drills while supporting coaches and staff with daily operational tasks. 

Oddo was the founder, general manager, and head coach of the 3-Time Champs, the University of Louisville’s first TBT team. He led all aspects in the creation of the team by recruiting coaches and players, and spearheading all marketing initiatives. 

He ended his playing career suiting up for the University of Louisville during the 2019-2020 season. While at Louisville, the Cardinals finished with a 24-7 overall record and ranked as high as No. 1 in the country.

Prior to Louisville, Oddo was a four-year member of the men’s basketball team at the University of Richmond where he received a full athletic scholarship in his final season. 

A Roanoke native, Oddo earned a bachelor’s degree with a double major in communication and history from Richmond and a master’s degree in sport science and coaching from Akron.
