Coach Aviwe Mahlong is an alumni of Eastern Mennonite School in Harrisonburg, Virginia, where he averaged 16.5 points per game with 994 points in two seasons. He was a two-time all-conference first team and two-time all-state first team selection. He led his team to a 2020 Virginia Independent Conference championship and two VISAA state final appearances. Prior to his time at EMS, he played for his high school team in Johannesburg, South Africa and for Global Squad AAU basketball. Mahlong is currently attending Eastern Mennonite University where he plays on the Runnin Royals Men’s Basketball Team and is majoring in Business Administration.
