Coach Scott Joyner has been coaching basketball for 32 years. His coaching career started at Tabb Intermediate School in York County where he coached the Girl’s Team from 1990-1992. In 1992 Coach Joyner went to Bruton High School in Williamsburg, He coached the Boy’s JV team for 5 years and became the Boy’s Varsity Coach in 1997 where he coached for 15 years. While the varsity coach his teams won over 270 games, won 7 District Championships and had 3 State Tournament appearances. In 2000 his team won the AA State Championship.
In 2012 Coach Joyner moved to Harrisonbug and coached the Blue Streaks Boys for 3 years before retiring from High School Coaching in 2015. Since retiring, Coach Joyner has been coaching teams with the ERSC AAU Organization.
